Hi, I'm Fion!
The Wabi-Sabi moment
is like sushi,
it's raw but it's goooood!!
I am glad you are here
What is WABI SABI
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese philosophy that existed for hundreds of years. It is a very soulful concept, therefore different people may have their deeper understanding of what Wabi Sabi means to them. For me it is about embracing imperfection, authenticity, and the beauty of the fleeting raw moments. To quote from Beth Kempton: "Wabi Sabi is a gentle gauge of exquisite moments.
So based on this approach, I aim to capture the emotions and storytelling through my photos.
And that is the concept behind Wabi sabi photography. To capture those raw, Wabi sabi moments for you so that you can memorize, re-live it in a form of art. The laughter, the tears, all these wabi-sabi moments that are so precious but yet does not last long.
I know how you feel
YOU THINK THE CAMERA HATES YOU
It is not that you hate pictures, you just don't always like how you look in the picture. You always look at your photogenic friends and think you are not made for it
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO POSE
You feel awkward in front of the camera. You don't know where to put your hands, where to look, how to smile, you feel stiffed in front of the camera
YOU WANT AMAZING MEMORIES
But yet you want to create memories with your love ones. You want to look nice in the picture but you just need a little help.
